PPEC is a non residential facility available for up to 12 hours a day for children age twenty years and younger who require skilled medical intervention. PPEC services are prescribed by a physician as an alternative, or in conjunction with home nursing. This provides a child an opportunity to be socially engaged while participating in fun and stimulating age appropriate activities. PPEC not only makes it convenient for a child to receive therapy but also assures that nurses will work in conjunction with the therapists to maximize the child’s developmental potential. Additionally, family support and training is an integral part of the PPEC program.
